Right boot has a "spot" on it. The boots are also a 1/2 size too big. I am wearing thick socks to help compensate. I made the decision to keep them instead of returning them. I will send pics.
Hi Philip! We are so sorry about the spot - thank you for providing photos. The Coke are wider in the vamp than the lace-up Bee's you own; plus you can't tighten them up. An insert - available at a drug store - or a Thorlo padded western dress sock will make them fit tighter. It sounds like you have a good thick sock option already. If you are experiencing more heel slippage with the Coke over the Bee - it won't go away entirely but it minimize once the welt and outsole are broken in. I recently received my excellent Coke County boots. I wear size 11Ds in my faithful Wellingtons and the RR boots are true to size. I have a high instep and needed boot hooks to pull my new boots on; however, once in the fit is perfect with lots of room in the toe box. They are appropriately snug across the instep but breaking in nicely. These are very comfortable boots and are real lookers! Thanks for an outstanding pair of boots.
Boots are wide for me. Placed an insert in boots - made them for OK.
