  • What size boots should I order?
The fit of a boot will slightly vary by style. Whatever size you almost always wear in leather shoes and boots is what you should order from us. Note, your heel will slip in a cowboy boot style and this is normal. If you wear a wider width, order a half size up. If you have a narrow foot, order a half size down.

  • How should they fit out of the box?

Boots should have plenty of room to wiggle your toes and should feel just a bit snug across the top of your foot. In western boots there should be a little bit of heel slip when you first wear them—the slippage will minimize when you break in the sole (2-3 days of wear), and the snugness across the top of your foot will minimize as the leather stretches and conforms to the shape of your foot.

 

  • Where are your products made?

All of our boots are handmade in one of the oldest artisan boot factories in Spain (they’ve been making handmade boots for over 100 years!). A family owned operation with generations of shoemaking tradition passed down from grand-parents to grandkids. Our factory is among the most respected and uses some of the finest materials and leathers the world has to offer.

 

  • How do your boots hold up to water and bad weather?

Our boots are made through Goodyear Welt construction. This shoemaking process creates a waterproof barrier between the upper and the outsole. While this does not mean they are 100% waterproof boots, they will easily get you through a few puddles and a bit of snow without your foot getting wet. There are products available that you can use on your boots to better protect the uppers from water damage. If you would like any product recommendations email our support team.

 

  • What is your shipping and return/exchange policy?

Order processing can take between 1-3 business days (excluding holidays). Once and order is shipped the delivery can take anywhere from 3-10 days depending on your location. We accept all unworn/undamaged returns except clearance or final sale marked items within 30 days of purchase, starting upon the delivery date of your item.

We offer free shipping and exchanges. Returns for refunds are subject to a $15 return shipping fee. Please visit our return policy page to review our complete conditions and exclusions here.

  • Why do you charge a $15 return shipping/processing fee? 

The fee covers the additional operational costs associated with the processing of each return back to our warehouse. These are inclusive but not limited to shipping, product inspection, repackaging materials and inventory processing that we incur from each return in order to place items back into the store in pristine condition for another customer. The  $15 fee is only applicable to refunds (exchanges are free) and is deducted from the original form of payment. If you have any questions please feel free to email us at support@ranchroadboots.com.

 

  • Is there color variations in the leather?

Colors and shades of leathers are subject to natural variation. Tanned leather changes with time and with the boot-making process (which involves pressure and water.)  We attempt to provide web images of our leather products that closely match their natural color and what you should receive. However, please note that computer displays and lighting may create slight variations. Leather tanning also has slight variations as, naturally, no leather is the same. We cannot guarantee that the color you see on your monitor will exactly match what you receive on your boot. If you have any questions about color variations please email our support team.

 

  • Do you have a loyalty program?

So glad you asked! Yes, we now have a loyalty program you can sign up through our homepage (bottom left corner). By signing up you will be able to receive points for purchases, and other high-value actions, that you can redeem in the form of discounts on future purchases.

 

  • Do you accept returns for orders placed during Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping holidays?

Yes, we accept returns on all orders EXCEPT items otherwise marked as FINAL SALE. Please refer to the return and exchange policy, here.

 

  • What if I ordered an item from FINAL SALE and need to exchange for a different size?

We understand that final sale items may need to be exchanged. While we cannot accept returns on final sale items, we'll do our best to get you into the size you need pending availability.   • When should I place my order if I want it to arrive by December 24th?

Please note that during the holiday season shipping volumes are at an all time high across carriers. We recommend placing holiday orders at least one full week in advance to receive by December 24th and avoid any delays should you choose our standard free shipping service. For 2-day express shipping, we recommend placing orders by December 17th. 

 

  • Do you have an extended holiday return policy?

Yes, we offer an additional 15 days to our standard return policy. Purchases between November 22nd, 2021 and December 24th, 2021 are eligible for our holiday return policy and may be returned or exchanged (unless marked as final sale) within 45 days of purchase undamaged, unworn, and in original packaging.
